Itinerary
On your arrival, you will be welcomed and picked by our driver-guide who will directly transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park. You will have en route lunch on the way, finally arrive and check in at Kibale forest camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After your breakfast, you will have a morning chimpanzee trekking experience in search of one of man’s closest relatives. Trek through the forest for several hours searching for the chimpanzees as they go about their life in their natural habitat. Enjoy seeing the chimps and listening to them before trekking back to the park headquarters. Return to the hotel for lunch and immediately after lunch proceed for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland. Later on, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale forest camp.
In the morning after your breakfast, we shall check out the lodge and proceed with our journey to Mgahinga national park with en-route lunch on the way. Finally, arrival and check in at Mondi lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park guides with your packed lunch. Thereafter head to the jungle for gorilla trekking that starts from 8:00 am. Head to the forest for a trek that lasts about 2 to 4 hours or more depending on where the mountain gorillas have spent their night. After meeting with the gorillas, you spend a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas. Return to the Centre and relax a bit and then embark on the evening Golden monkey tracking which is also another interesting adventure to experience while at your stay in the park. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Mondi lodge.
In the morning after your breakfast, you will pack and check out then embark on our journey with en-route lunch back to Kampala and finally Entebbe to your flight.
